Perhaps you’ve seen our clothing donation boxes around campus or stopped by our booth at club fairs, but do you know what Rotaract Club actually is? Formed in 1968 as a youth oriented branch of Rotary International, the Rotaract motto is “Service Above Self.” We take pride in that motto and we fulfill this mission by taking part in a number of service projects for the benefit of our Salem siblings, as well as the greater Winston-Salem community. In February, we participated in Community Roots Day where we planted trees with other members of the Winston-Salem community. This month, we are gathering clothing donations that we plan to donate to the women’s shelter. If you are looking for an active club on campus with a great sense of siblinghood, Rotaract is the place for you. We welcome all who are interested to join us in serving our community!
